    Neil Ker disputed James' dating: 'can hardly be earlier than 2nd quarter xth'. Rosamund McKitterick assigns it to the late 10th/early 11th century. Helmut Gneuss identifies the fragment as coming from a Pontifical. Another single leaf fragment from the same Pontifical is in the Beinecke Rare Book and MS Library, Yale University.

    On one side a prayer for St Sigismund, an early sixth-century king of the Burgundians; on the other side an 'Oratio ad Capillatura'.
