    Double columns of 37 lines. In a fine black upright hand. Initials in red and blue. The quires are numbered throughout in red. The margins of several leaves have been cut off.

    Original binding, white skin over boards, strap and pin-fastening gone.

  • Provenance: From Abbey Dore, a Cistercian monastery in Herefordshire. On the bottom of f.1 of text is (xv?) Liber Monachorum Sancte Marie Vallis Dore.qui eum fraude furauerit Anathema sit.

    On the second flyleaf, from the top of which a slip has been cut, is an original table of contents headed in red:
    In hoc uolumine continentur hii libri.
